This week as Logan continues to get stronger from his surgery, he makes it out to view a movie. With Star Wars finally hitting 3D, how can we not review it? So how does the 3D conversion of a 13 year old Episode 1 do in the theaters? Is it worth the ticket price? Logan lets you know his thoughts.

Logan then brings up the recent press release of George Lucas that despite what fans know for a fact and remember, Greedo shot first in the original Star Wars film in 1977. Lucas is trying to tell fanbs that despite what their eyes tell them, Greedo shot first, which the original clips I include below proves otherwise. We discuss this topic on the air.

This week Logan drags himself out of bed….literally…..and starts up our show. For those who were not aware, Logan underwent surgery on Feb 2, 2012 and came out alive and in many pieces. This and despite many technical difficulties makes this an interesting episode. We looked at a variety of games, TV shows, movies and open mic topics.

This week Logan steps into to Quantum Leap Accelerator…and nothing happens. Except we looked back at the classic series by Donald Bellisario which starred Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell. First we started off with the weekly news and game reviews. The Squid Lord talks some more on his new love for the free to play MMO Star Trek Online, and we even convinced some fans to download and play.

We then discuss with The Big Leneski, Mike Leneksi of the TalkShoe show “With Special Guest” and DaveAC of The Cultdom Collective about some of their favorite Quantum Leap episodes. Some of Logan’s were The Leap Home Parts 1 and 2, where Sam Beckett leaped into himself as a teen. Also The Leap Back, where Sam and Al switch places and we see inside The Project Quantum Leap Control Room, and the finale Mirror Image.

Logan then brings his review of the David Fincher flick “the Girls with the Dragon Tattoo” starring Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig. Logan loves Rooney, but not tattooed and pierced up. What did I think of the film, coming at if with zero knowledge of the book or Swedish version of the film?

We then finish the show answering a question from Alexander Brandtner about the horrible film The Human Centipede.  Ending our night, we discuss which catchphrase would be in the Star Wars XXX Parody.  What a horrible was to end the show, but it happens.

This week Logan and his Companions look at the best moments from the new Doctor Who. We cover the 9th to 11th Doctors. It starts off with Logan having a “squidLord” style rant (bleeding eyeballs and all) over the newest episode of Doctor Who called “Lets Kill Hitler”. We then open up the lines for the callers to share their favorite Who moments.

We then touch base on SciFi Tech that has become real. We discuss cell phones first seen as communicators; flat screen TVs, GPS; HUDs and more. The SquidLord closes the episode with some insight into the new video game “Microscope”

The Squid Lord then offers up some new game reviews, including From Dust, a new God game along the lines of the old Black and White PC games of years back We finish off with discussion of the release of The West Memphis Three after 18 years in prison for the murder of 3 cub scouts in 1993. This is a very interesting episode. In short Logan and the panel discuss William Shatner’s new documentary The Captains, and then to follow up with “Who is your favorite Captain?”. The next segment is really interesting. This past week The Media Outsiders was insulted by a former friend of Logan’s, calling everyone on the show “pervert old men”. This person apparently included the women, including a friend of theirs in this category. So we discuss this insult, which is more interesting is the fact the insulter now works selling her body as a stripper to real pervert old men. We invited her to come on the show, but got no reply. You can hear the reactions and comments from the “perverted old men and she-men” on this week’s episode.

This episode we say good-bye to The Boy Wizard who Lived, Harry Potter. 10 years ago the Harry Potter film series hit the theaters and 8 films later it is the end. It is a remarkable film achievement, 8 films and very few cast changes. The only major one was the death of Richard “Dumbledore” Harris between film 2 and 3. The panel discusses this last film and what they thoughts of the series in general.

We then look briefly at SyFy’s series Eureka, Warehouse 13 and the new Alphas. What did The SquidLord, who is well known for being tough on SyFy, think of these newest editions? Download to find out.
