Well the week is finally here and Mavel’s Summer Tent pole film The Avengers is out. With a $200.3 Million Dollar Domestic opening weekend, it breaks all weekend records. So what does Logan and the cast think of Joss Wheldon’s flick of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the rest?

We also look at our favorite films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and then close out with a recap of Conway, Arkansas’s annual event Toad Suck Daze.

On The Media Outsiders I mentioned in the past the annual festival event Toad Suck Daze in Conway, Arkansas. TSD happens the first weekend in May and this is the 31st annual event. For three days you have carnival rides, food vendors, live music, The Word Championship Toad Races and the “Stuck on a Truck” contest.

On May 4th, Logan and regular caller Katherine Boone tour Toad Suck Daze and end with some tastings of Gator on a Stick and Jumbo Corn Dogs. Enjoy the video.

This week we have a very special event. TMO hosted it’s first live Google Plus Hangout while on the air. Logan started off with the news, including that Leonard Nimoy MIGHT be in the new Star Trek 2 that is currently filming.

We then go to The Squid Lord live who has been beta testing the new mmo Guild Wars 2. He screenshared on G+ Hangout and allowed the hangers and callers to set his actions. The video is below and while there were a few glitches, I think I have it synced pretty well. If this is a success, we may have more in this style.

This week Logan reviews the Farley Brothers’ film The Three Stooges. What was it like watching three modern actors playing the roles of Moe Howard, Curly Howard and Larry Fine? Do they bring honor to the decades long history that is The Three Stooges? The Squid Lord then gives a review of The Raid:Redemption

SkyRim Kinect update…check. Guild Wars 2….check, both discussed in full. We also discuss the Diablo 3 beta and if it will be a great game after such the long wait. Add some World of Warcraft updates and we have a full game night. Also we look at TV’s most annoying characters. Who were they? And do you have one that rubs you the wrong way we didn’t mention? This was the biggest discussion of the night, and quite entertaining.

This week we had a rather heated episode. It starts off normally, with Logan offering the movie and gaming news, including news on X-Men:First Class 2, The Hunger Games, Eddie Murphy is the Twins’ sequel Triplet and Mass Effect 3 updates.

Logan then gives a spoilerish review of Titanic 3D, in which he informs the audience that the ship sinks. It is during the segment on GCB that it falls apart. Logan was challeneged to watch 2 episodes of this new ABC series about “good, Christian bitches”. What happens in his review is a heated 20 minutes arguement with a caller.

We finish out with The Squid Lord and Logan continuing the discuss Game of Thrones season 2.

Tonight we suffer Logan’s wrath as he reviews The Wrath of the Titans, the sequel to the 2010 remake of Clash of the Titans. What did Logan think of the film? Is it really twice as good as the first like ads claim? What is the best thing in it? Hint: Liam Neeson is god as always in this film.

Next we review the new console game Armored Core V. While Logan loved the game Chrome Hounds, what does he think of this new addition to the Armored Core franchise? We also discuss briefly what Logan felt about the TV series Game of Thrones after he finally watched the entire first season. Plus Logan receives a challenge.

We then move into the movie review of Act of Valor. This is a unique movie, as it is filmed using active US Navy SEALs in a fictionalized story of terrorists and the war against it.  What did Logan think of this film, and more importantly what does the box office think?  We also look at the father who teaches his daughter a lesson by shooting her laptop. This week as Logan continues to get stronger from his surgery, he makes it out to view a movie. With Star Wars finally hitting 3D, how can we not review it? So how does the 3D conversion of a 13 year old Episode 1 do in the theaters? Is it worth the ticket price? Logan lets you know his thoughts.

Logan then brings up the recent press release of George Lucas that despite what fans know for a fact and remember, Greedo shot first in the original Star Wars film in 1977. Lucas is trying to tell fanbs that despite what their eyes tell them, Greedo shot first, which the original clips I include below proves otherwise. We discuss this topic on the air.

This week Logan drags himself out of bed….literally…..and starts up our show. For those who were not aware, Logan underwent surgery on Feb 2, 2012 and came out alive and in many pieces. This and despite many technical difficulties makes this an interesting episode. We looked at a variety of games, TV shows, movies and open mic topics.

This week Logan steps into to Quantum Leap Accelerator…and nothing happens. Except we looked back at the classic series by Donald Bellisario which starred Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell. The Squid Lord talks some more on his new love for the free to play MMO Star Trek Online, and we even convinced some fans to download and play.

We then discuss with The Big Leneski, Mike Leneksi of the TalkShoe show “With Special Guest” and DaveAC of The Cultdom Collective about some of their favorite Quantum Leap episodes. Some of Logan’s were The Leap Home Parts 1 and 2, where Sam Beckett leaped into himself as a teen. Also The Leap Back, where Sam and Al switch places and we see inside The Project Quantum Leap Control Room, and the finale Mirror Image.

Logan then brings his review of the David Fincher flick “the Girls with the Dragon Tattoo” starring Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig. Logan loves Rooney, but not tattooed and pierced up. What did I think of the film, coming at if with zero knowledge of the book or Swedish version of the film?

We then finish the show answering a question from Alexander Brandtner about the horrible film The Human Centipede.  Ending our night, we discuss which catchphrase would be in the Star Wars XXX Parody.  What a horrible was to end the show, but it happens.
